Scientific and technical documentation service

Presentation :

The documentation service, as the other services, plays an important role in ensuring different missions specifically for the CRTI staff.

Missions :

Provide both staff and students maximum and possible access to scientific and Technical Documentation;

Provide the best possible use of the scientific production of CCS, for instance, the archive that lists references and provides internal access to scientific publications and theses (past and present);

Enhance and facilitate the development of scientific and domestic production of the CSC staff and student trainees;

Manage the bibliographic background of CSC;

Ensure the management and administration of the National documentary System online (SNDL) for CSC staff;

Establish and go through the demand and need of researchers works;

Management of internal scientific productions (local management in a database);

Update the library software;

Boost, endow and update the collections of books and periodicals, by implementing an acquisition policy for documentation;

Ensure the dissemination of documentary information to the Public.
