NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING AND EVALUATION TECHNIQUES DIVISION

The Non Destructive Testing and Evaluation Techniques Division is responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing techniques for the control and evaluation of materials and structures, using non-destructive methods. The techniques developed in the division use various processes, including electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, optical, acoustic waves and ionizing radiation. These methods allow for the precise characterization and assessment of materials and coatings, as well as the detection of internal defects such as cracks, delaminations, corrosion, impact damage and decohesion……..

This plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety and sustainability of infrastructure in various industrial sectors (energy, aeronautics, construction, transport, etc.) in compliance with international quality and safety standards. Moreover, the division conducts research to improve sensors and optimize non-destructive testing software by using advanced technologies to make inspections faster, more accurate, and reliable, while also helping with data interpretation.
