METALS AND ALLOYS DIVISION
DIVISION DMA-URMM/CRTI Annaba : Metals & Alloys
The Metals and Alloys Division (DMA) contributes to the control and technological development of the steel and metallurgical sectors. This division offers appropriate solutions with the aim of improving the performance of the socio-economic and industrial sectors.
Indeed, within the framework of forecasting useful research and sustainable development for a competitive steel industry, the DMA division aims to assess the life of materials or processes, the analysis of processes related to the optimization of material properties or implementation. It also contributes to supporting the industrial sector by providing expertise, training and support.
The missions and areas of research assigned to the DMA division are as follows:
Missions
1- Adaptation of the research and development strategy to the needs of the industrial sector
2- Research and development of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys
3- Assessment of the conformity of metallic materials with respect to the standards and the conditions in service
4- Control and optimization of processes for the transformation and shaping of metals and alloys
5- Contribution to improving the working properties of metal alloys
6- Mastering the technological development of steelworks by undertaking studies and expertise
7- Development of new products and processes
8- Contribution to the resolution of industrial problems by undertaking consultancy, support and expert studies
