Nanosciences and nanotechnologies have revolutionized the scientific world, leading to the development of new tools and techniques based on two logics: that of the optimization of properties and that of plurifunctionalization.Nanoscale materials have many advantages over their microscale counterparts. The key aspect in many applications is the efficient design of nanomaterials in which desirable advantages can be distinctly demonstrated and undesirable disadvantages can be properly suppressed. Extensive efforts are underway to promote their effective use of these nanomaterials in various fields. The architecture of materials at the nanoscale, which most of the time involves the development of composites, makes it possible to give a given material new functionalities, leading to multifunctionality. Thus, the use of nanomaterials can significantly improve a material's performance in certain areas of durability and corrosion control; for example, in smart coatings, corrosion inhibitors and the production of stable anodes in the field of cathodic protection and the treatment of effluents and even as stable catalysts. The research team deals with the following areas: - Surface nanostructure materials (nanopores, nanostructure coatings) the objective is to provide the surface with new properties/functionalities such as improving mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation, etc. - Surface functionalization of the anodized material with MFe2O4 nanoparticles for effective protection against corrosion in extreme conditions.- Develop a process for producing nanostructured coatings by combining several techniques.- Synthesis of nanoparticles as a sustainable and reusable catalyst in the elimination of influential, biofuel
