The Division of Metallurgy and Mechanics DMM through its human and material resources strives to conduct studies and research on:
- Thermal, mechanical and metallurgical phenomena induced in the materials, assemblies and machine elements that compose the various industrial equipments.
- he tribological and thermomechanical behavior of materials and industrial equipment.
- he reliability of industrial equipment and installations through increasing the service life, wear reduction and proposing new materials (composites and ceramics).
