Development of Cold-Rolled Steels for Moderate Stamping Applications
This project is structured around a comprehensive approach aimed at optimizing the use of cold-rolled steels for diverse industrial applications. By ensuring thorough material characterization and selecting the necessary thermomechanical treatments, the objective is to guarantee that this material can meet the specific needs of each sector while delivering high performance in terms of strength, durability, and formability.
The project aims to utilize material produced by the El-Hadjar Sider steel complex, steels obtained through cold rolling, for moderate stamping applications. This process is crucial for numerous industries, including automotive, appliances, and other mechanical sectors, which require precisely formed, high-volume components. Rigorous qualification of this material ensures it meets the requirements of various industrial applications.
The overall objective of this project is therefore to qualify these steels for use in multiple industrial fields while ensuring optimal performance during the stamping process
