The Creation of Welding and Non- Destructive Testing Research Centre CSC:

In the 1980s, UNHCR depended on the Republic Presidency. Its task was the development of research projects which was undertaken at the level of Development Centers. A few years later, this task returned to the Ministry of Higher Education (MES), which took over the part of scientific research to become the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS).
This transition was marked by the creation of many research centres including, the Welding and NDT Research Centre (CSC) which made the concept of the scientific research took its real development.The CSC was established by the Decree N° 92-280 of July 06th, 1992. Its mission was not different from that of the UDTSCND, nevertheless, the Research Centre status gave it the highest profile in the industrial environment and stressed the importance of research on assembly techniques, welding, and non-destructive testing.
The center management was newly created, so a recruitment procedure was initiated to recruit research assistants and support staff to achieve the human potential of 165 employees.
