Additive manufacturing research unit
Location : Setif Industrial zone
The Additive Manufacturing Research Unit was created by ministerial decree N°: 241 of March 12, 2022. This unit is charged by:
Undertake researches on processes to develop new materials for additive manufacturing;
Conduct studies and researches on additive manufacturing for different industrial applications;
Integrate artificial intelligence in the design, modeling and optimization of complex parts;
Proceed to the Quality control of parts made by different additive manufacturing processes.
The research unit comprises two divisions and a workshop:
Research Division: Metallic Additive Manufacturing
Research Division: Non-metallic Additive Manufacturing
Workshop: Reverse Engineering.
