This team aims to
develop physic-chemistry and synthesis of materials for the welding industry. In
addition, the study and analysis of the operating behavior of existing
materials during welding operations will contribute to establishing a
correlation methodology between the welding parameters in order to optimize the
process and promote the formation of resistant structures. Different mechanical
stresses and chemical attacks. In the short and medium term, it will focus on
highlighting the influence of additive elements on the quality of weldments. In
the long term, the team will contribute to the synthesis of specific filler
metals for particular applications. This research project has several
objectives:
·
Master the welding
technologies used in the research field and the industrial field.
·
Study of the influence
of the welding parameters on the quality of the weld joints.
·
Study of the influence
of the material to be welded on the choice of the energy source.
·
Study of different
disruptive phenomena.
·
The development of this
methodology is aimed primarily at analyzing the behavior of materials at high
temperatures and developing a list of additive elements influencing arc plasmas
and molten metal. It will eventually ensure the correct choice of welding
parameters during the welding operation.
